Hi everyone,
I hope April started okay for you all and you ate all the chocolate. Here we had a beautiful weekend but things took a turn on Monday with cold settling in and today was grey but warmer than yesterday.
Writing update: It’s done, finished, the end on book 1 in the Lovin’ Weatherboro series. Now I am going to let it rest for a while before I get onto the editing part. I want to make this book as good as it can be, and as it is dependent on the timeline from book 2 in the Weatherboro mysteries, I will need to finish that one to make sure that the events match in both books. This book will be released after book 2 of WM, as it contains what could be considered spoilers.
But, good news, I have started on WM book 2 and it’s going good so far. I have finished chapter 1 and I am almost done with chapter 2, with a total of 8k words so far. I am aiming for 70k words, but it might take me further as the boys are being very talkative once again.
Book update: I finished the zero hour series by Aimee Nicole Walker and it was amazing. I then went on to read a few of the new releases that came out in the past week or two. I loved Getaway by Casey Cox, it’s a sweet and funny friends to lovers romance. Then went onto Dangerous Breeds by Onley James, a lot more strong emotions, and so much heat, loved it too. Motorcycles and Teddy bears by Sammie Cee was loving and sweet. I read the latest book by J.D. Light and went on to books by my favourite authors, Susi Hawke and Lisa Oliver and got lost in the shifter worlds of Arrowtown and STHAP in Chicago. I have now started Fandom, hopefully I can pace myself and not read long into the night, but I am already hook, so we will see.
I am sorry I haven’t started on longer reviews. I am going to work on that.
That’s it for me. If you have any reading suggestions, let me know in the comments.
Wishing you all a great week.
Cel
Ps: picture below is of the beautiful I live right next to. I have started going for walks again and thought it doesn't change much from day to day, I love taking pictures of it
