The weather here has been amazing. Cool but very warm in the sunshine. I spent two hours taking care of the entrance to our small estate, planting lavender and some bulbs. I can't wait to see flowers growing there.
Writing update: I have been distracted by other life things in the past week so I wasn't able to write as much as I wanted. And the retreats I usually join are on hold at the moment so word count has been low on some days. The goal is to catch up and write as many words as possible before the end of the week.
I am plotting the rewrite of book 1 in the 'Lovin' in Weatherboro' series. I like the core of the book, now I need to sprinkle some missing ingredients to tie it all together.
Reading update: I finished 'Fandom' by Eden Finley and I loved it. Mason and Denver are everything. The couple in the previous book are still my favourite, but I really loved these two. Then I read 'Sweet as honey' by Lucy Lennox, this was sweet, funny and I enjoyed myself from beginning to end. For my paranormal of the week, this time it was 'Blood' by AJ Sherwood and Jocelynn Drake. It was amazing, I loved Ravi in previous books and he did not disappoint. His mate was the perfect counterpart. Then I read books 1 and 2 in 'the goode life' series by Isla Olsen. These are hot, sweet, very funny books. I really loved them. I started today on 'Dantes Unglued' by Jocelynn Drake. I read a few books in this series but not this one, so I wanted to give it a try. I am enjoying it so far.
If you haven't read them yet, give them a try, they are amazing. If you have already read them, let me know what you think :-)
That's it for me for this week. I hope to have more news next week on my progress. Let's wish for all the words to start flowing again.
Wishing you a great week,
Cel
